It's wonderful to serve in the town where you grew up! Sometimes, however, familiarity robs us of full appreciation for all that we have around us.
Four and a half years ago when I drove over Eau Gallie Causeway for the first time to see the home I had bought but had never visited, I said out loud "Lord, don't ever let me take this for granted!" I am entirely in love with our waterways, parks, shops, businesses and restaurants, but more than anything I am in love with our friendly, outgoing people.
I bring thoughful, experienced support to our City.
